Tivy Hosts Course Fair

Time to Start Planning for 2010-2011!

Incoming freshman and current 9th - 11th grade students and parents at Tivy High School are invited to a pre-registration course fair this Thursday, Feb. 11th, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Tivy High School. KISD encourages all parents to attend with their student to get a better understanding of the offerings for the 2010-2011 school year.

The Course Fair will provide parents and students with information regarding the pre-registration process, new graduation requirements, and an opportunity to ask teachers specific questions about the courses available. There will also be information available regarding summer enrichment programs.

Current 8th grade students and current 9th grade students and parents need to meet in the Tivy cafeteria at 5:30 - 6:00, then the two groups will move to the auditorium for an overview from 6:00 - 6:30. Current 10th and 11th grade students and parents will meet first in the Tivy auditorium at 5:30 - 6:00 then move to the cafeteria from 6:00 - 6:30.
